Request A Pickup Reminders for Your Dumpster Return

Make sure to close the dumpster door securely.

Double-check there are no prohibited items mixed in with your debris.

Make sure all debris is contained inside the dumpster, and that nothing is sticking out over the top.

Ensure the container is accessible to our truck all day on your pickup date.

If your cleanup involves common, everyday debris, you can throw most types of household waste in a dumpster. However, each city has different regulations on what can go in a dumpster rental. Furniture, appliances, electronics, stumps, dirt, cardboard and concrete/hardfill may not be accepted in all locations. Ask your Oaks Dumpster representative for specifics in your area.

Prohibited items include flammable, toxic, corrosive, and hazardous materials, such as paints, batteries, electronics, contaminated soil, fluorescent bulbs, and asbestos-containing products. These will not be accepted at landfills and can even damage the dumpster container itself. Contact us for a comprehensive list of prohibited items.

How to Avoid Additional Fees

1.

Contact us before your rental period is up. If your requested pickup date falls after the last day of your rental period, there will be a fee for each additional day.

2.

Pay attention to your weight limit. The landfill will charge a fee to cover the difference if your debris exceeds your dumpster’s weight limit.

3.

Notify us quickly if your plans change. There will be a fee if you cancel or change your request on your scheduled pickup day, or after 3 p.m. the business day before. This is to cover the costs of rerouting our drivers.
